Dr. Johnson is a Board Certified Optometrist who has had extensive experiencing evaluating and managing patients with the following:

    -  Eye Exams

    -  Contact Lens

    -  Monitoring and Screening for Medical Eye Disease

    -  Treatment of Glaucoma

    -  Treatment of Dry Eye

A native of Tifton, Dr. Johnson first joined Berg Eye Center, P.C. in 1995. A former LASIK patient herself, she performs preoperative and postoperative care for refractive surgery patients.   

Dr. Johnson attended ABAC College then graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. degree.  She completed her Doctorate of Optometry at the Southern College of Optometry, Memphis, where she was named outstanding clinician in her class in her senior year.

She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and Georgia Optometric Association. She has served as President of the local chapter of the Georgia Optometric Association

Dr. Johnson's husband Eric is an Engineer at Procter and Gamble.  They have a son, Jacob and a daughter, Anna.
