Dr. O. C. Sindersine is a board certified optometrist with a community wide reputation for his experience who specializes in the following:
- Eye Exams
- Contact Lens
- Monitoring and Screening for Medical Eye Diseases
- Treatment of Glaucoma
- Treatment of Dry Eye
Dr. Sindersine was born and raised in Newton Georgia. His undergraduate work was done at Georgia Southwestern College and Florida State University. He then earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis.
On graduation Dr. Sindersine joined the Navy. He served his country as staff optometrist at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. During his 3-year tour he was commissioned as a Navy Lieutenant. After his honorable discharge he returned to the Albany area, working with the Moore Eye Clinic and then in independent practice. Dr. Sindersine joined the Berg Eye Center in 1988.
Dr. Sindersine is a member of several professional groups including the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association.
Dr. Sindersine, along with his wife, Lynn, are active in the community. They have three sons, Andrew, Justin and Oliver. In addition, the couple has four grandchildren.
In his free time he enjoys cooking, hunting, fishing, and his family.
