Dr. Oliver Champlin Sindersine, III
Dr. O. C. Sindersine passed away on April 19, 2014 at the age of 65 due to pancreatic cancer.
Dr. Sindersine was born in Camilla, Ga., and grew up in Newton to graduate from Baker county High School. He attended Georgia Southwestern University and Albany Junior college. He graduated with a Doctor of Optometry Degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. He then went on to serve as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy from 1973 to 1976. Dr. Sindersine resided and practiced in Albany, GA since 1977 where he worked and took care of patients at Berg Eye Center for over 25 years. He loved to grill, was an avid fisherman and truly loved to spend time with his family.
Dr. Sindersine truly touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by friends, family and all who had the opportunity to meet this incredible man.
