   Thank you for visiting the Berg Eye Center, P.C. Web site. Since we were founded in 1948 by Dr. Joe Berg, more patients have trusted us with their eyes than any other practice in the region. We offer a broad range of services from delicate eye surgery to routine periodic exams and contact lens fittings.

   We have four doctors to serve you.  Dr. Berg has a special interest in Cataract-Intraocular Lens Implant and Cornea Transplant Surgery. Doctor Davis specializes in Laser Refractive Surgery and is experienced in Cataract and Oculoplastic Surgery. Doctors Sindersine and Johnson are board certified Optometrists performing a wide range of services from routine exams and contact lens care, to the medical management of glaucoma and dry eye.

New Eye Surgery Center Now Open

We are pleased to announce the opening of Meredyth Eye Surgery Center. This state of the art 5000 sq. foot facility was custom- designed specifically for the surgical treatment of eye diseases and disorders. It is located on the second floor of the Meredyth Place Medical Campus. Berg Eye Center, Meredyth Eye Surgery Center and Berg Optical Center are bringing excellence and convenience to satisfy all of the eye care needs of southwest Georgia.

Dr. Johnson Returns

We are also pleased to announce the return of optometrist Dr. Nancy Johnson to Berg Eye Center. She will be taking on new patients and welcoming back established patients for services ranging from routine eye examinations to contact lens care and refractive eye surgery screenings.
